Merry Christmas!! Oh Savannah, she was definitely not a fan of Santa but I guess every parent has a picture of there kid crying on Santa's lap. Otherwise we had a great Christmas. Dan had to work so we opened our presents Christmas eve morning then spent the afternoon at my parent's place and the evening at the Langfords. Savannah and I slept at my parents house that evening and it was fun being there with my younger brothers watching them open there presents Christmas morning. It was a great Christmas. Savannah was spoiled again of course by her grandparents and aunts and uncles. Thank you all for the wondeful gifts. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.

Savannah's Birthday!!

Happy Birthday Savannah. My baby is one year old today and I am amazed how fast the year flew by. She is such a wonderful baby. I could not have picked a better daughter. She always has us laughing and while her antics have me wanting to pull my hair out sometimes I love her even more for them. We had a great time at the party last night at my parents house. Savannah loves all the attention. She just eats it up. Thank you all for the wonderful presents and for making the day so special for her. As you can see she loved her cupcake and made a fun mess with it. She was more excited about playing with her presents then opening them. Good thing we had Cousin Jackson there to get all those presents opened. Savannah is having another party tonight at her Grandma and Grandpa Langfords. What a lucky girl.

Happy Thanksgiving

So this is a little late but I just wanted to say what a great Thanksgiving we had. Daniel unfortunately had to work so we didn't see much of him. Poor guy, always working, we sure missed him. Savannah and I spent the night at my parents house the night before so we wouldn't miss any of the festivities on Thanksgiving. Savannah loves playing with her uncles. They give her all the attention she constantly demands and had her laughing about one thing or another all day. The meal was wonderful. I love Thanksgiving, I definitely would not mind if it came more than once a year. Savannah loved the sweet potatoes rolls. Thank you Kim for making sweet potatoes. She had leftovers that night and the next day. She couldn't get enough of them. That evening we went over to the Langford's for a little bit to say hello and to see Dan. All in all it was a great day.
I truly have many thing to be thankful this last year. The number one being Savannah. She is such a joy to us and her little personalty has us cracking up all the time. We are so lucky to have such a happy healthy baby.

Family Pictures

Here is a family picture. I don't have a disc yet so the picture is teeny tiny from our proofs. They turned out Really cute though. If you go to the webiste http://www.bishopimages.instaproofs.com/ click on Langford and the password is just my name, you have to capitalize the K in Kristy, you can see them all. Savannah's pictures turned out so cute so if you have time check them out.

Oregon

Oregon is the most beautiful place. We spent a few days there last week and had a marvalous time. Dan had a friend getting married in Portland so that was our excuse to take a little vacation. We left Savannah with Grandma and Grandpa Garner so even though we missed her it was nice being kid free for the first time in almost a year.
The portland temple was beautiful. We also visited the Tillamook cheese Factory and drove out to the coast. The day before we left we drove up to Astoria which is a fun place, the streets reminded me of San Fransico. It was hill after hill after hill. Then we crossed a long bridge over the river into Washinton and visited some light houses. Very very neat.
All and all it was a great trip. We of course forgot to take our camera so no pictures.

Trick or Treat

What a fun Halloween!! Savannah was an adorable little bumble bee and she was so good about wearing her costume all day. She did not try to pull it off once. Dan was out of town so it was sad to not have him there but we tried to make the most of it. Savannah had so much fun tick or treating with her cousins, Jackson and Alex, and just laughed and laughed at all the kids in there costumes. She is such a social little girl.

Pumpkin Party

Yesterday was the annual Langford pumkin carving party. Good times, good food and as you can see a ton of pumpkins. Savannah is a little to young to be carving them but she had a blast playing with them and climbing on them. I am not the biggest fan of pumpkin carving so I stuck pretty close to Savannah using her a my excuse but Dan carved a vampire into his.

Family Pictures a Success

So I am happy to announce that we pulled off pictures without a hitch. Well almost without a hitch. Savannah did fall and scrape up her forehead but we were about done anyway. All and all though it was a fun afternoon. We went up to the Sugar house area and just walked around to a few locations and snapped a lot of pictures. I am excited to get them back. I will post some as soon as I get them. I'm happy to get that out of the way and now looking forward to the next event in our lives, Halloween. It is funny what having a kid will do to you. I haven't been excited for Halloween since I was a kid. Savannah is going to be a bumble bee and is pretty much the cutest baby you'll ever see in a costume. I can't wait!!

Preparing for Family Pictures

Well tomorrow we are getting family pictures taken. I am really excited but a little nervous how Savannah is going to react. She has been getting shy around strangers lately. Hopefully she will cooperate. This is last minute thrown together session because when I spoke to the photographer last night she had a cancellation for tomorrow afternoon and I jumped on it. Today is going to be a crazy day of getting my hair done after work (thank you so much Elly for doing this) and shopping for some new clothes on my lunch hour. Wish us luck that everything will work out and it will be a successful day.

One of our favorites things to do
have been going to my little
brother's football games. Savannah
loves watching all the people and will
laugh when the crowd starts cheering for the
team. Savannah loves playing with her
uncles and just eats up all the attention
that they will give her.

Well Savannah and I are on our own this weekend. Her daddy is off in Colorado springs reffing water polo and we are both missing him. Sometimes a little Savannah time goes a long way. We had to go visit grandpa to get a little space from each other. Good thing she is such a cutie.
As Savannah grows she is proving to be a little Houdini. She manages to get through every barricade I try to set up to keep her out of things. She can wiggle her little body through the tiniest space. I am constantly amazed. I dread the day this girl starts walking.
