Dan and I met in April 2006 and were married September 2006. Savannah joined our family on December 9th 2007. She is a doll, a total mama's girl and has her daddy wrapped around her little finger.
Yesterday was the annual Langford pumkin carving party. Good times, good food and as you can see a ton of pumpkins. Savannah is a little to young to be carving them but she had a blast playing with them and climbing on them. I am not the biggest fan of pumpkin carving so I stuck pretty close to Savannah using her a my excuse but Dan carved a vampire into his.
So I am happy to announce that we pulled off pictures without a hitch. Well almost without a hitch. Savannah did fall and scrape up her forehead but we were about done anyway. All and all though it was a fun afternoon. We went up to the Sugar house area and just walked around to a few locations and snapped a lot of pictures. I am excited to get them back. I will post some as soon as I get them. I'm happy to get that out of the way and now looking forward to the next event in our lives, Halloween. It is funny what having a kid will do to you. I haven't been excited for Halloween since I was a kid. Savannah is going to be a bumble bee and is pretty much the cutest baby you'll ever see in a costume. I can't wait!!
Well tomorrow we are getting family pictures taken. I am really excited but a little nervous how Savannah is going to react. She has been getting shy around strangers lately. Hopefully she will cooperate. This is last minute thrown together session because when I spoke to the photographer last night she had a cancellation for tomorrow afternoon and I jumped on it. Today is going to be a crazy day of getting my hair done after work (thank you so much Elly for doing this) and shopping for some new clothes on my lunch hour. Wish us luck that everything will work out and it will be a successful day.

One of our favorites things to do have been going to my little brother's football games. Savannah loves watching all the people and will laugh when the crowd starts cheering for the team. Savannah loves playing with her uncles and just eats up all the attention that they will give her.

Well Savannah and I are on our own this weekend. Her daddy is off in Colorado springs reffing water polo and we are both missing him. Sometimes a little Savannah time goes a long way. We had to go visit grandpa to get a little space from each other. Good thing she is such a cutie. As Savannah grows she is proving to be a little Houdini. She manages to get through every barricade I try to set up to keep her out of things. She can wiggle her little body through the tiniest space. I am constantly amazed. I dread the day this girl starts walking.

How can anyone say no to this mug. Classic Savannah face.
